Paper Pumpkin

March has been an awesome month for Stampin' Up!  Sale-a-Bration is winding down, but there have been lots of fun FREE products available with every $50 order!  Check out the links in my sidebars, or let me know if you have questions.

Have you wondered about Paper Pumpkin?  This is SU!'s monthly subscription where for $19.95 each month, you get a fun surprise package in the mail, complete with all the supplies you need to make 6-9 projects.  I am so pleased that these kits have been beefed up to include more products and allows you to make more projects!

My March kit came last week, so I figured I should sit down and make some samples to share with you all.  Have you ever "sewed" on your cards?  Well, this month, Paper Pumpkin makes it easy by having everything prepared so all we have to do is actually thread the needle and sew!

What do you think?

A tisket A tasket...

I love my Easter Basket!

This is a total C.A.S.E (copy and share everything) from a fellow demo, Amy Koenders.  The Berry Basket Bigz die in the Occasions Catalog can make all kinds of fun baskets or containers.

I had a fun workshop yesterday and in addition to the Easter Basket above, we also made some coasters, using a technique and project shared by France Martin.  We used the Blendabilities, which are unfortunately on hold with Stampin' Up! while they work out some manufacturing issues.  It involves merely coloring the stamps with the Blendability marker and stamping on a tumbled tile.  Easy-peasy!  We used stamps from the Kinda Electic stamp set.  Love, love, love.

Card Samples

Here in Indiana, we are suffering through a cold snap, which I am grateful for, considering what the south and east are going through this winter, with all their snow!  Since I am cooped up, in the house, I have been sorting, organizing, and generally cleaning up in the Classroom, which has been sorely neglected.

I came across two cards we did at a recent club meeting and thought they would be good to share with you all.

This first one is a total C.A.S.E. (copy and share everything) from a fellow demo Martha Gomez.  It uses the Bow Builder punch and the new Something Lacy background stamp.  It is a really quick and easy card that looks quite elegant.  I can see this being used as a wedding or anniversary card!

This next card uses the FREE Sale-a-Bration stamp set Lotus Blossom.  I used Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry for the flower, but the color combinations are unlimited!  What are your favorites?

So, stay warm - wherever you are - and try to get some stamping done!  Thanks for stopping by!
