With all the holidays over with, it is back to the work routine. I actually have to work five days this week!!!
Seriously, routine is good. I have rejoined WeightWatchers, so I am back on program, and I have my Wii Fit Plus all set up. I will get healthier this year!
I had stamp club yesterday with my Shelbyville Stampers and it was a blast, as usual. We sneak peeked some of the Occasions Mini products and one of the projects used the new clear mount stamps and blocks, as well as the new design punches.
This second card uses the clear mount stamp set "Vintage Vogue" from the Occasions mini catalog that will go live on Tuesday! (Customers should be receiving them in the mail soon, if you haven't already! If you don't have a SU! demo and would like a copy, please let me know!)
The new corner and border punches were used along with the clear mount stamp set. The center flower was first stamped in Melon Mambo ink, then I "rolled" the edges in Soft Suede ink to give it that two toned effect. This technique is called "Rock and Roll". The flower was then cut out with the paper snips, a pop-up glue dot was pressed in gold glitter and placed in the flower's center. Very cool! But the coolest part of this card is the fold. If you push the front upward, then it catches on the brad in the center of the bottom section for an "easel fold".
Sale-a-Bration starts tomorrow also...check out my SU! website to see what you can get FOR FREE with your $50 purchase! This promotion runs from January 5th through the end of March. I still have some open slots for workshops, so let me know if you need to book a date! Christy has already booked her workshop for next Monday....when can I mark YOU down?
