Little boxes, little boxes...

Today I worked from home to get started on the Annual meeting invitations, but I forgot I had to make little treat boxes for the New Members luncheon that occurs on Friday at the office.

So my morning was taken up using my Big Shot and the matchbox die to make a dozen of these...

I used scraps of the Shades of Spring Designer Series Paper, and Barely Banana cardstock.  You can't see it, but the butterflies (made with the Beautiful Wings embosslit) have Dazzling Diamonds glitter on the wings!  This close up shows the bling a bit better!  So sparkly!

So I am now ready to concentrate on the invitations for the next few days.  I was able to get all the card bases cut, and many of the corners rounded.  Just think....175 invitations x 4 corners, 175 inside folders x 4 corners, 175 boarding passes x 4 corners....I think that is about 2100 corners I have to round.  Yikes!  Who designed this invitation anyway?

I also wanted to share a picture I snapped from my office window last week when it was snowing...like when hasn't it been snowing around here lately?

Anyway, Mrs. Robin seemed to be wondering what happened to Spring?

I feel the same, Mrs. Robin ....

  1. What sweet little boxes! I think they are adorable! You should get a Corner Chomper. It will round the corners for either ¼" or ½" and you can do several pieces at the same time! I love mine and haven't used another since I got it. You're so creative! I love seeing all you share!
