Annual Meeting a great success!

Another Annual Meeting and Retreat is in the books, and it was a great success.  60+ attendees came to share the past grant year and plan and strategize for the coming year in the First Steps early intervention program through the state of Indiana.

I was again involved with the creation of all the pieces involved with the event, from the initial invitations clear through to table decorations, awards and holders, and table favors.  While April is always a stressful month, it is my favorite work-wise because I get to spend alot of time creating!  When else can I be on the clock and stamp?

I'll show a couple photos of the things I made...I forgot to take a picture of the inside of the table favor, so I hope there is one left over in the box so I can do that and share.  Our theme this year was "Passport to Success" so not only was our invitation a passport:
But we used a travel theme for the table centerpieces and had little metal suitcases for table favors.  Each table was a different country, and as guests arrived I drew a ticket that had the country they would travel to for lunch.  They would then sit at that table for the luncheon portion of the day.  It was great fun, and interesting to see who voiced a concern that they couldn't sit with their friends! :-)  Most everyone went along, and everyone seemed to have a great time!

I also made gift card holders for the awards, and was able to use products from the coming Summer mini catalog!  So these next couple pictures are sneak peeks for you:

These products went right along with our travel theme, and I was so grateful to Stampin' Up! that I could preorder!

So now I am off to a child health fair today, to help spread the word about the First Steps early intervention program.  I'll try to get picture of the travel suitcase favor and post tomorrow.  Stay tuned!

  1. Way to go Kathy!!!! It looks like it was wonderful!!
