You all have probably already read about the coming change to Stampin' Up!'s color palette. After two years of intense research and study, talking with demonstrators and customers, holding focus groups, and including discussions with marketing and business people, SU! has updated their color collections and all I can say is "WOW!
I shared this news with my team and customers this morning, hoping to share the excitement I am feeling about these new and returning colors. Just the names alone are exciting.... :-) Feel free to click HERE to see the new Color Collections and see if your favorite In Colors might have returned to the fold!
With this exciting change, comes a bit of sadness in that some of the current colors will be leaving. HERE is the list of those you can say farewell to.
BUT....all these changes won't happen until the new Idea Book and Catalog comes out July 1st...so there is time to get a stash built up if you have favorites that are going away! SU! has given us ample time to not only absorb this huge change, but to also make sure we have our "must haves" to finish those scrapbooks that have been in progress for many years, or to get enough cardstock to make those wedding invitations that require that one certain color!
Please let me know if you have questions and I'll try to answer them the best I can. With the reduction in the number of colors we will offer, that frees up warehouse space for NEW, EXCITING, FUN STUFF!!! See, CHANGE IS GOOD! :-)
Okay, so to make this crafting related....please enjoy my recent scrapbook page I did earlier this week, using, of course, My Digital Studio. The little guy in this picture is my imp of a great-nephew Ian, not quite a year old. Not only is the subject adorable, the page was easy to make...less than 10 minutes start to finish! I'll be having a free scrapbooking workshop on May 8th, in honor of National Scrapbooking Month, and will be demonstrating the workings of this software. Be sure to sign up for my newsletter, if you aren't already, if you want to receive the details on that workshop!
You can't use up creativity! The more you use, the more you have....Maya Angelou
