Back to Reality!

Yes, I'm back home from Convention, back to work, and back to reality - laundry!

I have been busy since making it home on Sunday evening...a great workshop for Diane on Monday evening, Tuesday Tappers stamp club on Tuesday evening, and - finally - REST on Wednesday evening.

I apologize that this is the first opportunity to post and let you share some of the fun I had in Salt Lake City.  I was able to tour SLC and the Riverton offices for Stampin' Up! on Wednesday with a great group of stampers.  I was adopted by a fun group from Alberta, Canada so was able to get my photo taken at the rock in front of the SU! home offices...it was soooo windy!

At convention, there are always rows and rows of display boards with cards and such that have been posted for us to photograph for later inspiration.  I could stand for hours and inspect each item!  I can't show you all of them, of course, but here is a picture to show you how the boards are set up.  See?  Row after row!  Boards of each color grouping...amazing!

There is so much to do and see at convention-business classes, make and takes, photo ops, demonstrations, networking, etc.  Every minute is crammed with activity and for someone my age, that wears a demo down!  We had a free evening on Friday, so I decided to stay in and rest up, review my swap cards I had received, and order from room service!  Yikes!  I knew it would be a bit pricey...so I wanted to show you what a $25 hamburger looks like!

I have been fortunate to go to Convention every year I have been a demo - so this one made #8 - and I think it was the best one yet.  Even though it was a bit smaller than previous years, I heard about 2800 demos in attendance, the classes and demonstrations were outstanding!  Have I mentioned I LOVE BEING A DEMO?

I have one more photo to share with you before I go and get ready for work.  There was an area in the Gathering Place where Shelli would sit for photo ops.  I wasn't able to get a picture taken with her, but when it was empty, several of us were there taking our own posed photos.  Here is one of my shots...

I will share some cards from the display board and demonstrations in a day or two, but now I must get in gear and get out the door to work....
