Can you believe it is August?  Where is the summer going?  I heard some schools are starting back already too!

Smiley from millan.netI have recovered from convention, and have started sorting my swaps and starting to edit my 1000 pictures I took while in Salt Lake City.  I know...I must have gotten a picture of every picture on the display boards!

I promised to share my swap cards and here they are.  This first one uses Poppy Parade Designer Series Paper and regular cardstock, along with the Basic Black, and uses the new stamp set called "Morning Cup".  If you know me, you know I had to get that set first thing...I drink coffee 24/7! This card was for my general swapping:

This next card was for an organized swap and uses Concord Crush and Pear Pizzazz inks and cardstock.  I stamped the butterfly three times without reinking to give that faded look, and added our new Jewel pearls to the center of each butterfly.

This last card is one we did at Diane's workshop on the Monday after returning from Convention. This uses Peach Parfait and Pacific Point inks and cardstock, and the hostess set from the IB&C called "Punch Potpourri".  I love how this card turned out!

I plan to share some of my swaps from Convention over the next few days.  There are so many talented demonstrators out there!  I just don't understand where they get all their ideas....but I'm so glad they are willing to share!

Don't forget - Blog Candy coming - we are really close!  Once my hit counter turns 30,000.....be sure to tell all your friends!

  2. Gorgeous cards as always Kathy. My favourite is the butterfly one, just lovely.
