Convention swaps are coming along...

My Convention swaps are coming along nicely, with much help from my super duper DH and some Awesome Stampin'  Fairies Smiley from

I have already posted the first two swap cards for two of the three organized swaps I have signed up for, and was able to get the third swap designed yesterday with the help of said Stampin' Fairies.  I love how this turned out!  I used Mr. Big Shot, of course, and the Framed Tulip Embossing Folder and the Scalloped Oval die.  The colors use Concord Crush, Old Olive and Very Vanilla.  I sponged Concord around the oval cut out, then - using the Baby Wipe technique (dribble reinkers on a folded baby wipe and use as your stamp pad) - stamped the large flower from Fabulous Florets.  I love that flower!

I do need your help in choosing which variation - Sample #1 has a ribbon knot....

And Sample #2 uses a fourth large pearl...

Here they both are - side by side....Which is your preference?  Please leave a comment and help me decide!

  1. The ribbon one!!! You will have to show me your trick with the baby wipes! Beautiful!!!!!

  2. I agree with Momma Chilson - the Ribbon Swap. Really nice balance with the pop of color!

  3. Ribbon Knot!! Love it!

  4. I'm afraid I won't be much help ... I love them both, but the one with the ribbon does step it up a bit.
    Lovely job!

  5. Both are great, but I think I prefer the one with the ribbon too =)

  6. I like the 4 pearls best myself... Both are wonderful!

  7. I like the ribbon too! :)
