Ribbon Lace Punch

Can you believe it is the middle of April?  The time is just speeding by!  Finally got our taxes filed over the weekend, so that is a relief.

I was notified on Friday that I have been selected as a Make and Take Helper for the Stampin' Up! Convention this summer!  I am so excited!  They always ask for helpers and I always apply, but this is my very first time getting selected, so I can't wait for July!

The Retiring List was released yesterday and it is huge!  There should be a link on my left sidebar that will take you to the pdf of the list.  I haven't even gone through my stash to see how many sets I have lost, I know it will be alot.  But, this will make room for all the fun, new sets that are coming on June 1st! Right?

Last week was my Thursday Thumper stamp club gathering.  Of course, we always have a great time and have fun stamping and catching up with each other.  One of the projects we did uses the Lace Ribbon Punch for a different look.

The secret is to start your punch from the bottom of the card, that makes sure you have a border to keep things together!  After running our Whisper White center piece through Mr. Big Shot with the Decorative Trim embossing folder, we used the large oval punch to punch the flowers and used a dimensional to pop it up a bit.  This would be a beautiful wedding or Mother's Day card.
