Heading Home....

What a great week at the Stampin' Up! Convention!  My head is overflowing with inspiration, information, and great ideas to share.  The picture below shows "the herd" as we changed from class to lunch break.  I think they said there were about 3,500 demos in attendance.

This year was a banner year for me.  If you have read my earlier posts, you know that I got VIP seating at the first General Session, and also won a Prize Patrol - the Keepsake Ornament bundle (stamp set AND Framelits!).

I also was chosen as a Make and Take Helper this year, which was a great, new experience.  It was alot of work, but such fun helping other demos get their projects at least started!

I now have a greater appreciation for those that take on this duty.  Yes, we get some awesome rewards, but boy do we earn them!  We all had to help pack everything up after the last session, and clear off all the tables.  Figure all the scissors, snails, punches, ink pads, markers, etc. for more than 150 tables of 6!  We had lots of help and it went quickly, but boy were we tired!

I am waiting for the shuttle to take me to the airport, even though my plane doesn't leave until 5pm.

Here is a project that Shelli shared that is a note holder.  The crystal knobs are actually magnets to hold a picture or note.  Too cute!
