I posted a couple days ago some ideas I had for the upcoming Stampin' Up! Convention organized swaps that I have joined.
This card was actually designed and used for a recent workshop and then shared with my club members this past month. Everyone loved it, and it is so easy to make! I used markers to color the rubber, then "huffed" and stamped, added a touch of Dazzling Diamonds and a bit of our crocheted trim.
I really wanted to use this design, but wondered if it would be "swap-worthy" as it stood. So I modified the project to fit on a 3"x3" card and it has become my SUDSOL 3x3 swap card! Voila!
So starting with a normal card sized 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" and scaling it down to a 3"x3" canvas really makes difference! You can't tell from the photo, but the Dazzling Diamonds really sparkle!
I really like them both! But especially glad that I can now mark TWO swaps DONE! 3 to go!
